This is still an inn where everything is freshly and self-cooked and at a very good price / performance ratio. Very nice service. Have been coming to the inn for 40 years.

Very good inn, have been here four times for a week each time. We were always warmly welcomed, and also well fed. The rooms are tip top. Beds comfortable, and everything was always very clean. Can just be recommended. Always my pleasure.

We were the only guests on Monday evening and were super catered for.

The food is always delicious and the waitresses are very nice and friendly.

Stayed on Christmas Day with the family for dinner. Food was good. Just a shame that some of us at the table were almost done with the food and the others didn't even have their food. There was a lot to do.

Nice typical Bavarian inn with friendly service and very good food. In terms of price, the inn is in a more affordable range, which obviously has no effect on the quality of the dishes. Heart-warming is the senior landlord who is still asking about the right thing.

Really delicious food, clean rooms and the breakfast was so plentiful and varied that we did not make it :). We were allowed to leave our bikes in a shed and the people were all nice too. The only drawback, I found, was that the pillows were really hard. But if I needed a room in the area again, I would definitely go back there.

We were in the time of 30.05. until 02.06. with a 14-member group on site. The inn is very nicely decorated. The rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious, very good quality (own eggs and own ham) and unbeatable price. We were excited. The two-time dinner at the Gaulwirt we also really liked. Very tasty Bavarian food for a good to very good price. The atmosphere was very familiar and the host and his family were very caring and friendly. We would like to come again

Great, quaint restaurant. Mainly locals, very good food and drink. But nothing for a romantic dinner ... Reservation recommended for larger groups

We were there for the second time and we were fully satisfied again. Great breakfast, great clean room. The menu is well stocked and the food is plentiful and very tasty. This country inn is only recommended.

We stayed here for eight days for our motorcycle tour. The room was clean and cozy. The owners nice, friendly and helpful. We got a very rich breakfast. In the evening after the tour delicious food, which was freshly prepared. From here you can start very nice tours through the Altmühltal. We were completely satisfied

The inn has been recommended for its good and cheap food. Can also vote if you get something. It is open 24 hours a day, Wednesday through Monday, but hot food is not consistently available. It was a late afternoon on Sunday. Otherwise quite listless staff in a large restaurant with Bahnhofsatmosphäre. May change if more is going on (we were the only guests), but again we will not go there.
